Say NO to chopping down the Whitsunday Areas Coconut Trees.

No chopping down of coconut trees in the Whitsunday Areas in North Queensland.

Why is this important?

Coconut trees feed people, they are a beautiful tree along the foreshores and keep the beaches stable from erosion. They are visually relaxing as well.
Sell the coconuts to all the visitors that come to the Whitsunday Areas to recoup the costs of maintaining them.

Reasons for signing

  • To stop madness
  • $75,000 \ by 900 coconuts = $83 which is nothing for a tourist region! The businesses need the coconuts.
  • We need green. No they aren,t native but either are most of us. You can also survive on a coconut tree.
